Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the review collection tools and services provided by The Garage Site (a trading name of Bulldogs Digital Ltd) (“Garage Site”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By placing an order or using any part of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Overview

Garage Site provides review collection tools to independent garages, including mirror hangers with smart QR codes, customer feedback forms, and an associated dashboard for monitoring review metrics (“Services”). Our system directs positive feedback (4 or 5 stars) to Google Reviews and negative feedback (1 to 3 stars) to a private internal form visible only to the garage. All customers are given the option to leave a public review regardless of their feedback.

2. Client Obligations

Clients must:

  • Use the Services in compliance with all applicable UK consumer laws, advertising laws, and online platform policies (e.g. Google Review Guidelines).

  • Not manipulate, falsify, or suppress genuine reviews.

  • Not use review data to make misleading claims about their ratings or customer satisfaction.

  • Provide accurate business details and ensure all feedback tools are used with actual customers.

3. Acceptable Use

Clients must not:

  • Modify, duplicate, or tamper with the QR codes.

  • Redirect QR codes to non-approved URLs.

  • Use the Services to harass, defame, or infringe on others’ rights.

  • Make misleading claims about guaranteed outcomes such as increased revenue, customer growth, or Google ranking improvements.

  • Use the Services to generate reviews from non-genuine customers, such as staff, friends, or associates.

  • Use Garage Site branding, logos, or marks in any way that implies partnership or endorsement without prior written permission.

4. Privacy & Data Protection

Garage Site complies with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Where we process personal data on behalf of the client, our Data Processing Agreement (DPA) applies.

Clients must:

  • Ensure they have a lawful basis to collect and process customer data.

  • Provide appropriate privacy notices to customers.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in our QR codes, designs, software, and dashboards remain the property of Garage Site. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services for your business only.

6. Fees & Payment

Initial setup fees and hanger pack prices are outlined on our website. All prices exclude VAT unless otherwise stated. Clients may opt into a recurring order subscription and receive a 10% discount (excluding setup fees). Payment must be made prior to production.

We reserve the right to update our pricing at any time. For recurring orders, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice before a price increase takes effect. If you wish to cancel your subscription due to a price increase, you may do so by giving 14 days’ written notice, provided your cancellation request is received within 14 days of the price change notification. Cancellations received after this 14-day response window will be processed at the updated price.

7. Disclaimers

Garage Site makes no guarantee of specific outcomes from using the Services. We are not liable for:

  • The content or tone of customer reviews,

  • Loss of reputation or business resulting from use or misuse,

  • Platform-based actions such as review removal or account penalties,

  • Suspension or moderation of your Google Business Profile or any other third-party platform.

Use of this system must comply with Google’s review policies. We do not control or guarantee the availability or performance of your Google Business Profile.

All Services are provided “as-is” without warranty.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate a client’s access to the Services without notice for breach of these Terms or unlawful conduct. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time in advance of a billing date. If a payment has already been taken, we are unable to apply a backdated cancellation or refund the charge. All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected]

10. Indemnity

The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Garage Site (Bulldogs Digital Ltd) from and against any claims, legal proceedings, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from the client’s misuse of the Services, breach of law, or violation of third-party platform policies.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
